“The first idea that the child must acquire, in order to be actively disciplined, is that of the difference between good and evil; and the task of the educator lies in seeing that the child does not confou
nd good with immobility, and evil with activity.” Maria Montessori
Happily married mother of three, grandmother of seven, I love writing, coaching, and teaching to encourage and support young moms! While earning a degree in Psychology and certifying and working as a Holistic Health Coach have been interesting and exciting pursuits, my greatest accomplishments have been here at home: giving birth to three children who amaze, teach, and strengthen me; creating a house of order, making beautiful spaces; learning to care for myself amidst life's demands; learning to plan and cook nourishing food; growing gardens; and most importantly, cultivating a dynamic marriage relationship while raising our three children. Now we are joyfully welcoming grandchildren into our family and the learning and evolution continue! If you could use encouragement to care for yourself and your family, please subscribe to the Lioness blog. It would be great to have you here!
