Life can be messy and complicated.

There are constant ups and downs. Kids get sick. Plans get changed.

Jobs change. The weather changes. Well, really, most everything changes and we do our best to stay afloat!

But more than that, we can learn ways to be proactive and create patterns of support to help us live the life we want to live, even amidst the change.

So, how are you feeling about the coping skills you’ve learned up to this point in your life? Those abilities you have to adapt to change, to find your daily balance so that you can be of service to your family, community and friends in a healthy way?

If you’re like me, you know that there’s always room for personal growth and improvement!

So here’s an opportunity to consider- the annual Lioness seminar series called 7 Steps to Family Wellness will be starting in September!

If you’d like to join us, here are a few things you’ll need to know:

We meet once a month for seven months. September, October, November, (off for December), then January, February, March and April.

It’s the same time-frame as most two college class semesters, only at the 7 Step seminar you will be learning, (and or be reminded of and practicing) some of the most intense and important life skills you need to be a healthy family leader. Kind of important, don’t you think?

Yes, there will be reading to do and you’ll work on specific homework assignments.

Yes, there will be accountability. {Goodbye procrastination!}

Yes, there are sometimes painful, then liberating ah-ha’s.

Best of all, there will be new, like-minded friends who will be walking beside you.

Learning in a group setting is so powerful! The experience and wisdom of all the participants combines to create an amazing, synergistic learning environment .

Some of the participants from last year’s session said:

“Time blocking has saved me this time. With homeschooling and extra activities, and trying to keep the house clean, I needed the organization in my life to be able to survive.”

“I have realized that I don’t have to be responsible for other’s choices and I can focus on my own responsibilities.”

“I have increased my focus on what’s most important and I have peace in choosing and creating simplicity in my life. Even with going through a pregnancy during the program, I have become more present and peaceful in my personal and family life.”

“I have more of an awareness or reminder of what I need to do. I am looking at things in a larger perspective. Getting organized physically and mentally has helped me feel more at peace.”

Oh! And you Lionesses who have already participated in seminar, no matter how many times, you’re always welcome to register too! Your experience has given you valuable lessons to share, and walking through the steps with accountability again means more learning and greater strides for you and your family! Happy fall everyone!
