Kitchen Coach Jenny- GF Cheese Bread

GF cheese bread

1/2 C. tapioca starch
1 C. sharp cheese, shredded (like fresh Parmesan or Asiago)
2 T. melted butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
rounded 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
3 T. finely chopped fresh herbs (optional)
Preheat oven to 500 degrees. In a bowl, mix tapioca starch, shredded cheese, baking powder, salt, onion powder and garlic powder until combined. Stir in melted butter, egg, and fresh herbs until dough forms a ball. (dough will still be slightly sticky. If it’s not sticking together well, add water a tsp. at a time until it forms a ball.)
Roll into ping-pong sized balls and bake for 7-10 minutes, until lightly browned. These are best right out of the oven.
