In the current business world, there are coaching gurus who offer their version of a paved road to success as an entrepreneur.

After listening to these many, mostly very successful business people, I think their messages boil down to one thing:

In order to be successful, you have to have a vision of the outcome you want; to overcome your own fear, stress and confusion every time negatives arise by learning to manage your mind; to focus on sound principles and your goals, to avoid being distracted away from your commitment by the hundreds of voices clamoring for your attention.

Can I say that this is exactly what Lioness strives to do for those of you who are building families?

Yes, you have to have the end in mind!

Yes, you have to learn to coach yourself off the ledges of fear, confusion and daily stresses that can suck you under into the realms of overwhelm and despair!

Yes, you have to learn to be focused on the outcomes you want by following true principles that support real relationships and not allow your life to be splintered into a thousand pieces by the multitude of opportunities and time-killing distractions that are vying for your attention every minute of every day.

So I ask you, what is your vision?

Are you willing to guard your attention so that you can focus and invest your time and energy and effort, heart and soul to reach it?

Do you want to get better at validating yourself and managing your mind?

Are you committed to working wholeheartedly on the skills of validation so that your family spaces will be safe places where you can grow and learn to work together as a cohesive team?

And lastly, what do you truly want and really need?

{Sometimes we are so backward in what we choose to believe!}

Besides needing the necessities of life, food, shelter and safety, the thing we ultimately need most is time with each other.

We probably don’t need the next expensive magic pill more than we need to relax and stop running on adrenaline and cortisol and deal with our self-made stress.

We probably don’t need to knock ourselves out to keep up with the ‘traveling Jones’ as much as we need to see the beauty that is in our own backyards with the people we love.

You know that phenomenon that happens in a house when you turn off a noisy television that’s had everyone’s attention, whether they knew it or not…that moment of your collective awareness coming back into the still and quiet, actual here and now?

That is the effect I hope Lioness can have on those who want the clamoring, artificial noise turned-off so they can hear again the sound of their own sweet, empowered reality.

I wish you great success in what is ultimately the point of our being here:

Learning, growing and creating everlasting connections with our greatest opportunity, joy and blessing; our family.

Love,

The mission of Lioness at the Door is to uplift, strengthen and encourage women of all ages to magnify health, hope and happiness at home. We do so boldly, with humility and gratitude for the opportunity.
