“Negativity is like a goldfish, the more space you give it, the larger it grows.” Steven Ozanich

And it leads to fear and pain and angst and ill health.

Gratefully, the more space we hold for joy, the greater it grows as well.

It just seems to take more intentionality! Like planting flowers:
The weeds will appear without any effort, but the beautiful things we want to grow require decision and effort and maintenance!

But once they’re planted and take root, there is less space and opportunity for the weeds to take over!

Our minds are much the same.

We can plant thought seeds of joy, intentionally watering them with praise and hope and gratitude. (And very specific declarations of truth we want to embrace.)

We can pull out weeds of negativity, starve them for attention and see them waste away. (Life is too short to choose misery!)

Hurrah for Israel! God is good; we are agents of choice.

Love to you and yours,
