A seminar group client shared this picture with us when we were talking about thoughts and bows and arrows. (Do any of you Lionesses know who to attribute for this picture? Please share if you do!)

I love it so much!

It personifies power, beauty, grace and determination!

So how are things going for you? Could you use more courage, power, grace and determination? What are the challenges you face today?

And like this beautiful archer, do you have a handle on what you want and need to be thinking in order to find your way through those challenges?

Remember that when it comes to negative thoughts, the truth to fire back is almost always the exact, positive opposite of those negatives.

Maybe my child has just been diagnosed with something that requires massive change for the whole family. Instead of giving into thoughts of defeat such as, “This is so hard! I’ll never learn this new diet,” stop those thoughts (as soon as you recognize you’re having them) by arming yourself with the truth.

“I am a life-long learner.”
“I am getting the hang of this!”
“I am strong and am taking good care of myself, so that I can care for my family.”
“I am creating an amazing support system.”

What if you are having a physical challenge that requires your patience for healing, even in the midst of doing your best to meet the needs of your children? Will you allow thoughts of failure or things like, “I am so sick of this! I’ll never be better!”

Or will you deliberately tell your brain what you want it to think?

“I am making progress.”
“I am patient with myself.”
“I am loved no matter what.”
“It is ok for me to accept help from others.”

Life is infinitely easier when we decide what to think.

As soon as we know the challenge exists, we can craft declarations to help us become proactive agents instead of a reactive victims! This is courage!

I hope above all, you are declaring and feeling, every day, that you are loved and loving.

Be well my friend,

The mission of Lioness at the Door is to uplift, strengthen and encourage women of all ages to magnify health, hope and happiness at home. We do so boldly, with humility and gratitude for the opportunity.

P. S. I’m happy to announce that the beautiful and amazingly functional Lioness planners are now available for download! See what you think!
