Sometimes I think it’s easy to feel like the world is going on without you, especially when you are knee-deep in child rearing.  Like, who will ever know how many diapers you changed today or how many times you reminded a small person about using good manners or how you consistently redirected your thoughts to being positive when you were getting through lunch dishes and counting down the minutes to nap time?

The reality is, your house is the world.  In fact, you and your house are the whole universe to little ones who are learning from your every word.  Who watch your face and know your moods and love you whole heartedly.

I hope that you will care for yourself today.  You are needed and loved and irreplaceable.

“I am full of love and patience.  I love my life!”

Be well,

Love,

Jacque

“When the real history of mankind is fully disclosed, will it feature the echoes of gunfire or the shaping sound of lullabies? The great armistices made by military men or the peacemaking of women in homes and in neighborhoods? Will what happened in cradles and kitchens prove to be more controlling than what happened in congresses?” Neal A. Maxwell
