Do you ever wonder if you have what it takes to make it through the challenges you are facing today? If so, you’re not alone!

I have the following quote hanging by my kitchen sink.

It reminds me of a dream I had when we were in the middle of raising our children; our son had just been diagnosed with a life-long disability and I went through a grieving process while I was grasping for understanding and assistance; I was taking one or two college classes each semester and I was struggling with health challenges, mental and physical. (Hindsight is crazy sometimes isn’t it? At the time I don’t know that I was adding this all up!)

In my dream, this man, approached me as I was walking across a beautiful university campus. He told me he understood that I was striving to better myself, then said that he was proud of me for what I was trying to accomplish in my life. That was it.

Remembering his words and the feeling the encouragement he gave me, strengthens me to this day. So I keep his words close by to help me continue to move forward, one little step at a time.

“Believe in yourself.
Believe in your capacity to do great things.
Believe that no mountain is so high that you cannot climb it.
You are a child of God, of infinite capacity.”
Gordon Bitner Hinckley, 1910-2008

I pray you will be encouraged and strengthened today!

Much love,
