In one of my favorite book series, The Chronicles of Narnia, C. S. Lewis wrote,

“Now you are a Lioness,” said Aslan. “And now all Narnia will be renewed. But come. We have no time to lose.”

Yes, I believe he is talking about you! You and your sisters. Do you know Christ loves you fully? Can you feel it? Do you know you are a Lioness and that there is no time to lose? That you really have a great work to do?

Work that won’t be accomplished with a demand for equality, respect or attention?

(In fact, you won’t be demanding at all.)

Your work is to show the world, by watching you and observing your relationships, and by knowing you and your unique and happy ways, what love is!

They’ll see how spiritual sensitivity is gained and what it can accomplish.

They’ll notice what family means, and how to create a harmonious one, little by little.

They’ll understand what humility and repentance look like and the joy and literal pain relief they bring! (See, no perfection is required! Just repentance and learning along your way!)

And the world will see what responsibility, accountability, sobriety, courage and virtue look like and what power they create!

You, you and your sisters. You’ll do this together and your love and influence will ripple out from your marriages, to your children, your neighborhoods, cities, countries and all the world!

(You’ve been a Lioness for a long time, ever since you could hear the voice of the Lion calling you to come.)

Your “bread and butter” is the spiritual sustenance gained through a starkly honest relationship with God and submersion in His word. Give an accounting and repent each day to keep your ability to feel the love coming to you! This is the key: we can repent, feast and drink deeply of God’s words to fill ourselves with love for each day! (Remember, Manna can’t be stored.)

Read with your eye single to feeling His love. Gather it in and never quit!

The world needs your love, replenished constantly from the unending supply He shares with you as you accept responsibility for your thoughts, words, actions, habits and desires.

I’m so honored to know you and get to walk with you and witness your evolution!

You can do this, and do it joyfully!

And I believe you will.
